So many of you have been making your lists, folding the pages you want to remember and going through a pack of post-it notes marking up everything you want. Today is the day you have been waiting for! You can now order from Stampin’ Up!’s 2017 Holiday Catalog!!! If you still need a copy of the Holiday catalog, please let…
Every month, my team of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators (we call ourselves “Wicked Stampahs”) get together for a creative meeting. Last night, 8 of us were able to get together and chat, stamp, share, inspire, eat, relax and enjoy what we love about Stampin’ Up!. We all joined Stampin’ Up! for different reasons and have different backgrounds. This is what makes…
Do you like to open presents early? If you answered yes, then I bet you like to able to order things early too. Stampin’ Up! has pre-released one of their Christmas bundles for us to order before the Holiday Catalog debut on September 1. As a demonstrator, I was able to order it a month earlier than you, and have…
Every mid December I wish I had more time to create hand made gifts and decorate them with creative love. I find myself getting “just enough” done. Pinterest is put aside because there never is enough time to do everything I see. Make your Christmas cards now to get ahead of the fast paced Christmas season. To help this Christmas…
I know I’ve mentioned Paper Pumpkin kits before, but now is a great time to mention them again. Paper Pumpkin kits are a must have! Each month, you receive stamps, ink and all the paper (and sometimes extra) you need to make a fun, paper crafting project. Everything is precut and ready to assemble. Paper Pumpkin does most of the…
Hi everyone! I sent out 18 Open House in an Envelope packets this month and received great feedback on it’s contents, cards to make and surprises. You may see this option again in the future, so be on the lookout and be sure to sign up. I thought I would share the three cards that everyone got to make from…
Depending on where you live and if you have school aged children, summer has already begun for you. Summer will begin on Thursday for my family (and we can’t wait). My son graduated high school two weeks ago and my daughter has 2 1/2 days left of middle school. She will be beginning high school in September. Time to celebrate!!! I…
Summer is a great time for creativity! Continue doing what you love to do, or try out something new. Here is a list of my summer classes. More dates available for a private class with you and your friends and hostess parties (my house or yours). All you need to do is contact me and we’ll find a date that…
Have you signed up for my alternative Open House yet? I’m calling it an “Open House in an Envelope”. Since I can’t seem to find a suitable day in the calendar until the end of July (and who wants to wait THAT long??), I’m doing a snail mail Open House (instead of an online virtual Open House). All you need…
That’s right, the wait is over and ordering for new products can begin!!! My list ready and I am just doing the last check over to be sure I am not missing anything vitally important for the next few classes I will be hosting. Stay tuned for the class schedule, it will be coming out very soon. I plan to…
Hi everyone! The sun is shining, the rain has moved on and the new 2017/18 Stampin’ Up! Annual catalog goes live today. Today is a very good day. There’s a little transitioning going on at the Stampin’ Up! website, converting the ordering from the old catalog to the new and it should be ready by 2pm today (it said 12pm…
I’m not sure about you, but my June & July calendar is filling up like crazy. Between high school graduation, end of the year school activities, softball tournaments, wisdom teeth removal, camps and who knows what else is on there. I couldn’t seem to find a suitable date for an Open House until the end of summer, so I’m going to…
This technique is so quick and easy, but impactful. Create a watercolor background with Stampin’ Write markers and an acrylic block. I promise you, after watching my video, this technique will be on your go-to list of techniques. Not only is it super easy to do, but it has a WOW effect that will impress both beginners and experts (and that’s what…
Once a month my team, the “Wicked Stampahs” (we are all from the Boston area) get together for a creative team meeting. Tonight was an especially fun meeting because we all were so excited to preview and chat about the new 2017/18 Annual catalog. One of the many perks of being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is to preview and purchase from…
My son will be graduating high school in a few weeks and I can’t believe he’s old enough to graduate! He towers over me in height, yet I will always think of him as my little buddy. Today, I had a little time to spend in my stamp room, so I decided to combine this week’s Global Design Project challenge #GDP086 with…
Today I was a happy girl. I got to spend a good part of my afternoon playing with the new, pre-released Eastern Palace suite, which is just stunning with details. You can certainly make beautiful things with the stamp set alone, but the Thinlits pair so nicely with the stamp set. It’s like chocolate and peanut butter – good separately, but…
I’m sure you have noticed the trend of tassels on everything: pocketbooks, scarves, shoes and now cards. They are everywhere and so much fun!!! I just love how the new Eastern Palace suite works beautifully with each other – the stamp set and Framelits are perfect partners. I have been playing with this suite a lot lately and this is…
Stampin’ Up! is offering all of us a chance to pre-order a stamp set & bundle of products prior to the catalog launch of June 1! I had the opportunity of already purchasing the Eastern Palace Suite of products and playing with them, and I must tell you that I LOVE them. My first reaction at the stamp set was a bit…
It’s not quite dragonfly weather where I live (another 3 months to go), but that doesn’t mean I can’t create my own dreamy dragonflies in my home studio. I immediately fell in love with the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set and coordinating Detailed Dragonflies Framelits from the 2017 Occasions catalog, but it was winter and it didn’t feel right playing with…
Easter has so many different styles, themes and color palettes. Easter bunnies, eggs and baskets are often created using pastel colors. This year, I wanted to go bold in making my fun Easter cards & treats. I achieve this boldness with bright colors and whimsy. Easter Card #1 My first card focuses on two retiring In-Colors: Cucumber Crush & Tip Top Taupe. These…
