Tips for Mass Production of Cards

This is the time of year that most people send out the most amount of cards. Don’t let it be overwhelming! As you are cutting, stamping, and assembling your Christmas cards, find the joy and not the time crunch.

As I was making some of my cards today, I thought of a few tips that may help you out with your mass production. If they don’t help you out this year, tuck them away for next year.

  1. Start making your Christmas cards in the summer. I offer Christmas in July, August, September …. card classes so you can get a head start and really enjoy the process of creating. If you make 12 cards at each class offering, you’ll be so happy come December when you have 60+ already made.
  2. Find a patterned paper that is so beautiful or festive, you won’t want to cover up too much of the pattern. Add a simple sentiment to the front and you are done. See photo below. The Let it Snow Specialty paper is full of sparkly snowmen & trees, I didn’t want to cover much of it up. I’m sorry to tell you that it is all sold out.
  3. Use glue instead of a tape runner. As much as I love the Snail Adhesive for card making, I find I go through too many when making my 150+ Christmas cards. A few years ago, I switched to using glue and I went through only one bottle of Multipurpose Liquid Glue (the best glue ever!).
  4. Turn your Christmas cards into New Years cards. I did this one year and it was such a relief to send them out after Christmas. Or, be like Julia Child and only send out Valentines cards.
  5. Use your Stamparatus for stamping. If you are making multiples of the same design, your Stamparatus makes it so much easier to do multiple stamping because the stamps are lined up in the same position for each and every card.

I hope these 5 tips were helpful to you! You may be in too deep for them to be helpful for you this year, but remember them for next. Happy Stamping!!!!!

This glittery snowman paper is so much fun I didn’t want to cover much up.
Spread the love!
