#keepstamping Color Challenges

Did you know that there are 53 Stampin’ Up! colors? Do you have a favorite? It’s hard to choose I know. I’m sure many of us change our favorite several times a year, I certainly do. And that’s totally okay! Actually, I think changing favorite colors is preferred so we can use all the colors. Color challenges is another way of using all the colors. It’s also a good way of knowing which colors to pair together (if that is a struggle for you). Stampin’ Up! has been putting color challenges together for the last few weeks as a #keepstamping challenge. I missed the first challenge, but have participated in the other four. Keep reading to see the color challenges and my samples. If you would like to participate, please post your projects on my Facebook group page, I would love to see them!

Terracotta Tile, Grapefruit Grove, Mango Melody, Pineapple Punch, Coastal Cabana & Bermuda Bay

I decided to make a bookmark using the Make A Splash Host Set. Isn’t it fun?

Pretty Peacock, Pool Party, Crumb Cake & Early Espresso

The Sailing Home stamp sets is one of my favorites from the 2019/20 Annual catalog. If I drive 7 miles from my home, I can sit on the jetty at a lighthouse and watch the sailboats sail by. Looking forward to doing that again this summer. These colors are so masculine and a great color combination.

Lovely Lipstick, Old Olive, Blushing Bride & Gorgeous Grape

Quite a different combination than the one above – so bright and cheery! I decided to combine these colors (which I will admit were not an easy combination for me) with the team swap I was participating in. We decided we wanted to send each other “happy” cards. And this definitely expresses happy. Butterflies = happy. I used the Butterfly Gala stamp set and coordinating Butterfly Duet punch. The Happy Birthday is from Peaceful Moments.

So Saffron, Crushed Curry, Smoky Slate & Seaside Spray

I love how each week’s color combinations are so different from each other and really stretch my creativity. I took the liberty of switching the Smoky Slate to Basic Gray because I was inspired by the colors and patterns from the Follow Your Art Designer Series Paper. I would love to send you this card too! Made with an exclusive Stamping Your Way to the Top stamp set that only Demonstrators can purchase. I hope you enjoyed my samples using the #keepstamping color challenge. If you would like to play along, please do! I would love for you to post your cards/projects on my Facebook Group Page so everyone can see and be inspired.

Spread the love!
