Fun Pinwheel Card

Interactive cards are fun to both make & receive.  I have found that some interactive cards can be tedious, time consuming and I’ll admit, a little frustrating to make.  But, this Pinwheel card is not that!  It’s very easy to make and put together.  The trick is, just a lot of cutting.  If you can cut paper then you can make this card, I promise!  So let’s get to it.  I created a video for you to follow along with and put your own fun pinwheel card together.  Watch the tutorial and let me know that you agree.

Fun Pinwheel Card Video Tutorial

Do you agree?  It is pretty easy to put together once all your pieces are cut.  Just be sure, as I showed you in the video, to make sure you don’t have any overextending pieces so it fits in the envelope.  If you happen to do what I did, no worries!  Hand deliver that card (with no envelope).

Measurements

  • Center box (patterned paper), 4-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ (or do as I did in the video and cut 4-1/4″ x 4).  Score every inch on one side.
  • Four large panels (solid color), 2-3/4″ x 4-1/4″
  • Four patterned panels, 2-1/2″ x 4″
  • Four thin panels (patter), 1-1/2″ x 4

Pinwheel card

The card is a great one because it stands by itself in a pinwheel shape and then folds flat to mail.  A perfect one to mail someone and have them display (& smile often when they see it).

This You’re a Peach Designer Series paper is a great pack to have, even if you’re not a fan of peaches!  The graphics are great and the colors lend themselves to many other non-peach projects.

I hope you agree that this fun Pinwheel card is an easy fancy fold to try.  I promise, if you follow along with the video, you will agree.  I would love to know what YOU think in the comments section.

Spread the love!
