DIY Striped Flip Card

I am so happy with how this card came out and am thrilled to show you how to make it.  Copy it exactly or put your own spin on it with different color combinations, stripe widths and/or cut out layers.  I just love this color combination of Night of Navy, Mossy Meadow, Just Jade, Misty Moonlight and Soft Succulent.  This was one of our June Club projects and everyone loved the process of how to make it and masculine card color combinations.  You too can make your own DIY Striped Flip card by watching the video at the end of this post.

Make your Own Striped Paper

DIY Striped Flip Card

Cut your steps – mine are cut in 3 widths: 1/4″, 1/2″ and 3/4″.  All are 8-1/2″ long.  Glue them on in any pattern to a 5-1/2 x 8-1/2″ piece of (white) card stock.  After they are dry, trim off the edges (1/8″) and then cut into 2-3/4″ sections.  You’ll get three striped pieces.

I love how there are so many possibilities and combinations of cards we can make with just paper.  Make your own DIY Striped Flip card and see for yourself.  I bet after you make one (or three since you can get three striped panels with this process) you’ll make more with different color combinations.  I would love to see what you create.
