Creating with Lovely Blossoms

I’m really enjoying each element of the new Lovely Blossoms suite: the stamps, dies, paper, ribbon, gems and embossing folder. Each work so well together, but they are also designed to work well on their own or with paired with another product.

I’ve showcased this suite in two different live classes and will be doing a third tomorrow. (January 27). Join live on YouTube  mailsomethingpretty.com/YouTube at 2pm ET, 1pm CT, 12pm MT & 11am PT, or watch the replay anytime. Be sure to subscribe to my channel while you are there so you receive notifications when I go live or upload a video.

Let’s Create Together

My friend Ann, who is an Australian Stampin’ Up! demonstrator and I do a joint live together each month. We’ve recently changed the format to include you in our stamping too. I invite you to read about the Let’s Create Together details and then join us live on the next one. Generally, they are the first Thursday of each month at 7pm ET, 6pm CT, 5pm MT & 4pm PT on YouTube: mailsomethingpretty.com/YouTube.

I used this Lovely Blossoms suite to create my cards for this mystery stamping projects and am really happy with how they came out. I included other samples not using this suite so you could see the versatility of the card design. Watch the replay of of me making these cards.

Hybrid Cards

On my December 30th live, I gave suggestions and showed how to use one of the papers from the Lovely Blossoms Designer Series Paper to create Hybrid cards with the flower from the stamp set. I don’t usually use the pre-printed layers from the paper, but I gave it a try and loved how it came out. It certainly makes making your cards a little easier and quicker but with the same handmade quality.

The colors of this suite are a wonderful and soothing color scheme: Cloud Cover, Crumb Cake, Old Olive, Petal Pink and Secret Sea. Even though we are not able to get the Cloud Cover ink pad (there were inconsistencies with the inked results so Stampin’ Up! decided not to sell the pad), you can still get the Cloud Cover color with the card stock, Blends Markers, ribbon, gems and the printed patterns of the Designer Series Paper. You can also create your own ink pad by coloring an empty ink spot with a Cloud Cover re-inker.
