Awesome Otters & Simply Marbelous Paper

For the last two months, I have been doing regular Facebook Lives on Tuesdays at 2:30 EST.  Be sure to turn in next Tuesday on my Mail Something Pretty Facebook Page to see a new episode.  This week, I highlighted and combined two of the Sale-a-bration choices: Awesome Otters & the Simply Marbeleous paper.  I think the two pair very well together.  Click HERE if you would like to watch the replay.  If you haven’t done so already, be sure to like my page and turn on all notifications, so you don’t miss anything.

As a reminder or if you’re new, an introduction to Sale-a-bration.  During January & February, you can choose free products from the exclusive Sale-a-bration catalog with each $50 and $100 order (or increments of $50, no limits).      Your choices are:

For $50 choose one:
  • Catching Butterflies stamp set
  • Island Vibes stamp set
  • Driving By stamp set
  • Awesome Otters stamp set
  • Simply Marbeleous Designer paper, 6″ x 6″
  • Daffodil Afternoon Designer paper, 12″ x 12″
  • Sunshine & Rainbows Designer paper, 6″ x 6″
  • See these choices with this LINK
For $100, choose either two of the above or one below
  • Special Moments stamp set
  • Friendly Hello Bundle (Stamp set & Designer paper)
  • See these choices with this LINK

As I mentioned above, there are no limits on how many free options you can choose.

These are the cards I made in the FB live.  I mention how to use this paper with minimal waste, keeping it 3″ wide so you can get two sheets per card.

Otter & fish card on Blue Marbelized paper card

Swimming Otter with green fish card.  Colored with Blends Markers.  Be sure to use Memento Ink when using the Blends Markers – that way the color won’t bleed.

Birthday Watercolor Otter on Blue Marbelized paper card

Birthday Otter splashing in the water card.  Colored with Watercolor Pencils and blended with a Blender Pen.  These are “magic pens” because they make watercoloring so easy.  Be sure to use Staz On Ink when using the Blender Pens or Water Painters (whenever you introduce water).  I also like to use Shimmery White Card stock when I am watercoloring (but I don’t like to use it when I am using Blends Markers.  For that I just use Basic White).

Birthday Watercolor Otter on Blue Marbelized paper card

This fun happy birthday Otter showcases the marble paper scrap papers I had from the other two cards.  None of this paper went to waste!  I used the Blends Markers on this otter too.

Did you know that the US Post Office has Otter stamps?  Now that’s coordination.

I hope you see how well these Awesome Otters & Simply Marbelous Paper pair together.  Be sure to get yours before they go away on February 28.

Spread the love!
