For the last two months, I have been doing regular Facebook Lives on Tuesdays at 2:30 EST. Be sure to turn in next Tuesday on my Mail Something Pretty Facebook Page to see a new episode. This week, I highlighted and combined two of the Sale-a-bration choices: Awesome Otters & the Simply Marbeleous paper. I think the two pair very well together. Click HERE if you would like to watch the replay. If you haven’t done so already, be sure to like my page and turn on all notifications, so you don’t miss anything.

These are the cards I made in the FB live. I mention how to use this paper with minimal waste, keeping it 3″ wide so you can get two sheets per card.
Swimming Otter with green fish card. Colored with Blends Markers. Be sure to use Memento Ink when using the Blends Markers – that way the color won’t bleed.
Birthday Otter splashing in the water card. Colored with Watercolor Pencils and blended with a Blender Pen. These are “magic pens” because they make watercoloring so easy. Be sure to use Staz On Ink when using the Blender Pens or Water Painters (whenever you introduce water). I also like to use Shimmery White Card stock when I am watercoloring (but I don’t like to use it when I am using Blends Markers. For that I just use Basic White).
This fun happy birthday Otter showcases the marble paper scrap papers I had from the other two cards. None of this paper went to waste! I used the Blends Markers on this otter too.
Did you know that the US Post Office has Otter stamps? Now that’s coordination.
I hope you see how well these Awesome Otters & Simply Marbelous Paper pair together. Be sure to get yours before they go away on February 28.
