About Me

Experience the JOY of Card Making & Paper Crafting!

That’s exactly how I felt when I took my first stamping class 17 years ago.  Being shown how to use rubber stamps and a paper cutter to make really nice handmade cards and assemble cute projects brought me such JOY that I couldn’t wait to go back to class a month later.  Soon, waiting a whole month between classes was too long to wait.   I wanted (needed) to experience the paper crafting joy all of the time, so I decided to join Stampin’ Up! and I have been experiencing and sharing this joy ever since.

I discovered that paper crafting joy is experienced AND given in different ways: at a crafting table by myself and with others, in a small class or large event, through conversation, from learning new ways of making things, from receiving and mailing cards, by looking at photographs of other people’s creations, by watching videos and then learning how to create my own.   I love sharing what I know with others.  There are no secrets.  I want everyone to experience this joy (and then, share it with others).

Sharing and learning are the operative words when it comes to paper crafting joy.  It’s contagious.  You share your cards by sending them in the mail.  You share what you made with your husband and kids (whether they are impressed or not).  You share a conversation at the crafting table and learn something at the same time.  You share a video with a friend.  She shares one with you.   You share your mistakes (we love pointing out our mistakes don’t we?) and learn from them for the next projects.  It’s a happy, joyful cycle.

Mail Something Pretty shares what she knows in weekly emails, blog posts, videos, lives and teaching for her Creative Stamp Club and team of Wicked Stampahs.  Christine is patient, kind, creative, fun and imperfect.  You’ll see how she doesn’t hide her mistakes or mishaps on her videos and lives.  She definitely knows how to laugh at herself.  She shares all the joy.

Are you ready for some paper crafting joy in your life?  Take the first step by joining the Mail Something Pretty mailing list.  As a thank you, Christine will share a free paper crafting video tutorial in your first email.

  1. Nice picture, Christine – I showed the nice thank you card you sent me with my pen to Debbie and Elle – they loved it and, hopefully will contact you. They had a lobster roll lunch donated by EE and ice cream by Pembroke Soft Serve – very nice –
