On Sunday, 15 women came to my house to celebrate and participate in World Card Making Day. What a great day! This was my first time hosting such an event. They each made 10 cards for themselves and 2 for the Christmas meal for Meals on Wheels. We lunched on homemade soups, breads and biscotti. Delicious! Below are a few photos of some of the gals in action and the cards we made. World Card Making Day is always the first weekend of October, so if you missed out on this one, be sure to pencil it in your calendar for next year. Or better yet, let’s plan a workshop or class so you don’t have to wait a year to make some cards.
A few accompaniments to go with the soups.
Here are the cards we made: Starburst Sayings Stamp Set
White Christmas Stamp Set
Flower Patch and Watercolor Thank You Stamp Sets
Work of Art Stamp Set
