Trick or Treating Season is right around the corner. The stores are ready (and have been for a while) with all the sweet treats lining the shelves. My son & I just bought a couple of bags of Take Five’s, which we love. One bag will be mailed to my favorite college freshman. Speaking of “Sweet Treats”, I have a different spin on one particular stamp in that set. I can’t take credit for the idea, but I did create these simple & fun projects for you to copy for Halloween. Turn your Cloche into a Ghost!
Turn your cloche upside down & create a ghost!!!!
Each card was made using the white Notecards & Envelopes set, a great deal for only $7 – you get 20 pre-scored notecards and envelopes in the pack. They come in Basic White, 159232 & Very Vanilla, 144236.
The patterned paper is all from the Cute Halloween 6″ x 6″ pack, 156479.
Each ghost was hand cut with paper snip scissors, 103579.
Hints & “Tricks”
Use a new, flat eraser head to stamp the eyes.
This spooky card may seem like “plain vanilla”, but there’s a little surprise with a splash of black glitter for its eyes. I used the largest circle from this die from the Give it a Whirl die set, 154336. Look around to at your punches and dies and see if you have the right size (1/4″ or so) for eyes. Black Glitter paper, 153518.
Who says ghosts have to be scary??? A little wink for this one with the help from the Sharing Sunshine set, 155631.
I stamped the closed eyed smiley face stamp and used the solid little circle to stamp on top of it’s one eye to create a wink.
One sheet of 6″ x 6″ paper wraps perfectly around a Hershey chocolate bar.
These Tombstone Treat Boxes, 156486 are a cinch to put together – no adhesive necessary. There are two sizes in each pack – a top & bottom (total of 8 boxes). You can even use them individually to stand up as a tombstone graveyard – create some imaginative epitaphs.
And finally, we can’t forget Charlie Brown’s infamous costume and quote “I got a rock”. Turn this ghost into Charlie Brown and fill a Printed Gusseted Cellophane bag, 151312 with chocolate rocks (aka Lindt chocolates). I’m sure no one will complain about getting these “rocks”.
Lucky you – you get TWO choices with very slight differences of the cloche stamp.
