Turn those Sunflowers into Gerbera Flowers

I have been trying to think up different ways of using the soon to be retired Simply Marbelous Sale-a-bration paper.  It’s such a fun pack of paper to create with.  On this week’s Facebook live, I showed you how to create an underwater scene using the seahorse & fish with the Seascapes dies.  If you missed it live, you can view the replay HERE.  Today, I decided to create flowers using the marbleized patterns.  They came out beautiful!  In this post, I’ll show you examples of how I turned the Sunflowers Dies into Gerbera Flowers.

Simply Marbelous Paper

This is the Sale-a-bration Simply Marbelous paper.  Free with a $50 order, but only until February 28 – that’s the last day of Sale-a-bration.  The pack includes 48 sheets of soft, pastel, realistic marble imagery, with one side revealing a more realistic marble and the other side a more artistic marble.   Colors included: Balmy Blue, Basic Gray, Blushing Bride, Bumblebee, Coastal Cabana, Flirty Flamingo, Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, Misty Moonlight, Pool Party, Smoky Slate, So Saffron.

The Flowers

PInk Gerbera flowers

Purple Gerbera flowers made with Gorgeous Grape & Highland Heather Marble paper

Yellow Gerbera flowers (or Sunflowers) made with Bumblebee Marble paper

Each of these flowers were made with both sides and multiple combinations of the Marbelous paper.  It was fun to create all different combinations.

The Cards

I made all the cards the same so you could compare and choose a favorite color.

Do you have a favorite color?  Let me know in the comments section.  I have several flowers left over and may create a garland to hang in my craft room.

I used the Sunflowers dies to create these beautiful flowers.

Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set

During the month of March, Stampin’ Up! is going to reunite these two, the stamp set & dies, to make a bundle with 20% savings!  March will be a great time to get these two.

Since I purchased mine, I have created several projects using both the stamp set & dies.  You can type in “sunflowers” in the search box to see all of the projects I have made.  Or, click this LINK for them all to come up. It’s a great bundle to have.  You can’t go wrong with sending sunflowers (or daisies) to anyone.

I hope you can see how easy it is to turn those Sunflowers into Gerbera Flowers.  All you need to do is switch out the papers and colors.
