I have been a Demonstrator for 17 years and it has changed for me over those years to fit my family’s schedule, lifestyle and my evolving goals. Being a Demonstrator is definitely flexible & provides so many opportunities for creative, personal and business growth (if that’s what you want). It is truly something I love doing and I look forward to many more years of being your Demonstrator (or maybe even team leader, if you decide to join too – I hope you do 😊).
You can join Stampin’ Up! as a Hobby, as a Business or combination the two!
I would say (at least) 90% of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators joined because of the discount and because they loved Stampin’ Up!’s coordinating products. There are over 45,000 Demonstrators world-wide. Most of this number remains a “hobbyist demonstrator”. If you are curious, everyone who joins begins with a 20% off discount on all products. You have the opportunity to increase this discount to 25%.

Turning it into more than a Hobby
Flexibility. You have all the flexibility and control to do it however you wish. There are no rules on how to be a Demonstrator. No one Demonstrator does it the exactly same way. Nor should you. Your biggest asset is YOU and no one can do you better than you.
- Have friends over to stamp together
- Teach a class at home, after school program, at your senior center, girl scout programs, through your town recreation, at scrapbooking events, at your church……
- Tell people you have Stampin’ Up! catalogs that they can order from
- Card Ministries
- Sell your cards. From your home, store, farmer’s market, craft fair, Etsy (anytime you sell a card, you should follow Stampin’ Up!’s Angel Policy)
- Host a workshop/party (in person or in a Facebook party)
- Create a monthly Stamp Club
- Create stamping videos and post them to YouTube
- Send out Newsletters and emails
- Or any other way. Go at your own pace to fit your lifestyle.
Keep in mind that when you join with me, you’ll have access to me and I can (& will love to) help you with any of the above.
Doing What You Love
One of the best things about being a Stampin’ Up Demonstrator is that I get to have a business doing what I love.
There aren’t a lot of businesses or jobs you can say that about. I consider myself very fortunate that I can spend quality time not only working on improving my own paper crafting skills, but passing that knowledge on to others, as well. It’s very fulfilling.
If you’d like a business doing what YOU love, I would encourage you to learn more about joining me and become a Stampin’ Up Demonstrator yourself.
It’s easy to get started and if you’d like to learn more, let’s schedule a phone call. I would be happy to chat with you about any of your questions or concerns.
Or, if you are ready to start, you can join here.

Common Questions
What do I need to do after I join? How do I stay active?
- To remain an active Demonstrator, you will need to meet quarterly sales minimums of $300. This amount can be from your purchases, someone who orders from you, or a combination of the two.
- Your first quarter will not begin until the following quarter. For example, if you join today (or anytime in February), your first quarter will not begin until April 1, so you have until June 30 to meet your first quarterly minimum of $300.
- There is always a pending month after the quarter closes in case you do not meet the minimum for one quarter.
- If you don’t meet the minimum during a quarter or pending month, then your status will become dropped. There are no penalties and you don’t have to send any product back. It’s risk free. And you have the ability to join again in the future.
How can I increase the 20% discount (income) to 25%?
- Once your sales reach the $1800 mark, your discount & income will increase to 25%. Everyone who joins Stampin’ Up! begins at the Bronze level. This percentage increase will also promote you to the Bronze Elite level.
- You also have the option of earning “volume rebates”. If you sell/purchase $600 in one month, then you will earn 4% of the total sales amount for that month.
- There are other ways of earning more that I would be happy to talk with you about if you are interested (I just don’t want to give information overload here)
Hopefully that answered a lot of your questions and concerns and you are exited to join today. Or, you can certainly join another day when the time is right for you.
As always, happy creating!
