Now that we are able to linger and wander a little more in stores, I am seeing some reoccurring themes in the current trends. I love wandering around Home Goods, TJ Maxx and Marshalls to see what great deals I can get. Walk around in these and similar stores and you’ll see some of the current trends: macramé, wild animals, peaches and succulents. They seem to be everywhere. And, you’ll also find these trends in the new Annual Stampin’ Up! catalog too!!! Let me show you:
Wild Animals
I saw these plates in Anthropologie. There were also some prints on t-shirts and dresses, but I didn’t want to get into too much mischief taking photographs without buying.
Here is the Stampin’ Up!’s Into the Wild Suite of products:

Cool Tip: The tiger stripes can be stamped on both the walking and sitting cat, as well as the different faces and spots.
Macramé
I remember my mom making macramé when I was a little girl. I specifically remember going into a bead shop and buying special beads & thin rope (?) for her to made macramé jewelry. I was probably 4 or 5. I still have some of that jewelry. I’ll have to dig it out and show it to you. We only had a few plant holders, but I remember my aunt’s friend Fran had tons of them in her house.
These plant holders are from a local nursery Kennedy Gardens that I love to visit in Scituate.
These two examples are from a local hobby shop that I won’t name (but happens to be the same name as my husband).

These cards look just like the containers above! So on trend!!!!
Peaches!
Even if you don’t like the taste of peaches (like me), you can’t deny how “sweet” they are. Even though I don’t like to eat peaches, I just love all the peach graphics, colors and good feeling they display.
Wholesome and happy! Now for Stampin’ Up!’s Your a Peach Suite:
Do you see those jam jars?????? Ooooh, I can’t resist them. To see more specifics of the peaches, click here: You’re a Peach suite.
Dandy Garden
There is a huge Go Native movement in local Garden Clubs, trying to plant more native plants & flowers to help the pollinators (bees, butterflies, dragonflies & hummingbirds). The Dandy Garden suite is just that, native flowers (don’t look at them as weeds).
I saw these monogrammed mugs at Anthropologie (they always have great monogrammed mugs). I instantly thought of Stampin’ Up!’s Dandy Garden Suite.

This is just a sampling of things I saw at the stores that reminded me of products Stampin’ Up! has. Stampin’ Up! is definitely on trend – the proof is in these pictures. If you want to be on trend too, order a suite or two and start creating and sharing. All you need to do is click on the highlighted links and you’ll be brought right into the online store.
