That title is a mouthful! But it does say what this card is all about. It’s a pop out fun fold, get well card and that has a “bendy” aspect to it. And, it all fits into a regular sized envelope! We made this fun card at my Creative Club Class this month. As you’ll see in the video, once you have the construction of the card down, you can customize it to be for any occasion and any reason. Change up the papers, the embossing folders, the colors, the sentiments and the central focal point to customize and personalize. I think anyone who receives this card, will display it for all to see. What do you think?

I decided to make this a get well card, focusing on the bushel of apples. “An apple a day keeps the doctor away,” right? I chose to watercolor them by using my Watercolor Pencils and Water Painter. I stamped the image on Watercolor Paper with Staz-On black ink. That’s the type of ink you want to use whenever introducing water because it will not bleed. I love using Watercolor pencils because you get so many colors for only a few dollars. You can also blend the colors together which gives you even more colors!
Watch to see how I put this card together. I think you are going to love it and want to make your own version.

Am I right, do you love how this card is put together? Can you think of other ways to vary it up? You can use decorative papers on the front instead of embossing folders. You can vary the size of the middle pop out focal point. Change the inside panel papers. Alter the belly band or eliminate it. You get the idea.

I think it’s really nice to make and send get well cards. They are a good type of card to make and stock up on. No one likes being sick.
Another great project to make and send someone who isn’t feeling all that well is a box of tea. Click the link to read the post and watch the tutorial: https://mailsomethingpretty.com/fun-tea-boxes-to-make-give/
