As a Demonstrator, I get the privilege of pre-ordering new products. It’s one of the great many perks of being part of the Stampin’ Up! family. My pre-order arrived this week and I went straight to work creating instant Sunflowers with the new Celebrate Sunflowers Stamps & Dies. What fun! I love tending my garden and try to grow sunflowers every year. The amount of sunflowers I grow depends on how many seeds & saplings the chipmunks eat each year. With this set and dies, I can “grow” as many as I want without having to worry about those pesky chipmunks.
Breathtaking, isn’t it? The line drawings invite you to color the flowers: watercoloring with ink or pencils, Blends markers, emboss resist, so many ways! And, sunflowers come in so many different colors that the choices are endless. The card I created was for my Club. We are unable to meet this month, so I created kits for them to make at home. The sunflower card is all die cuts, no stamping, since they don’t have the stamp set yet. Just another way to create with this bundle.

In addition to the new Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set and dies, I also used a new In Color – Cinnamon Cider. Mmmm, it’s such a warm color, just like it’s name. I also used matching Cinnamon Cider ribbon and the new Bumblebee gingham ribbon. I couldn’t choose one ribbon, so I used both.
