I got to play with the new Flowers for Every Season Designer Series Paper which highlights the new 2020/22 In Colors. You are going to love these new colors!!! Cinnamon Cider, Just Jade, Bumblebee, Magenta Madness and Misty Moonlight. They are so warm, inviting and easy to incorporate into your cards and projects. They pair so well with the existing Stampin’ Up! colors. Today, I’m going to highlight these colors with the Flowers for Every Season Designer Series Paper.
I think my favorite is Misty Moonlight, but I am partial to blue hues. Here are the cards I made combining both the solid new colors with the new Flowers for Every Season paper pack.
Sunflowers
This is such a classic daisy color pairing – blue, yellow & white – or I should say Misty Moonlight, Bumblebee & Whisper White. The Sunflower stamp and dies is from the new Celebrate Sunflowers and the Just Saying Hello is from the new Tasteful Touches.
Here is a much larger sunflower from that same Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle highlighting Cinnamon Cider, Bumblebee and Just Jade. The sentiment is from the same set.
A completely different version of a sunflower (and they do come in pink, I have seeds and will show you later in the season when they bloom). This is a fun & whimsy card. My lighting is a little off. I just received my new lightbox in the mail today and I just had to play with it. I will be practicing how to use it better. Here is the new photo station set up:
I’m really excited to learn how to use it and take really good pictures for you.
Graphic Patterns
I love this pattern & colors from the pack. There are lots and lots of flowers, but there are also a few graphic patterns. You may find that you have to use the Magenta Madness pink in little doses – it’s really bright! I’m using it here in the background circle.
The final card I have for you today shows the beautiful tones of Just Jade, with the pattern paper and the solid tag (with Misty Moonlight underneath). These tags are made using the new Lovely Labels Pick a Punch. You can punch 6 labels with one punch! There is a little learning curve to using this punch and getting them to punch straight. I’ll post more tips about it in future posts, but I did find that Thick Whisper White works much better than the regular Whisper White because there is less slippage.
