I forgot all about this Flower Pot card design until Sue showed her samples at our team Zoom meeting. Hers was so much fun (and so was her accomplishment and smile) that it inspired me to make some for Mother’s day. It had been a while since I made one, so I hopped on Pinterest to get the measurements and couldn’t find a post that had them. So, I came up with my own and am happily sharing with you. I hope you have as much fun as Sue and I did making these Flower Pot cards.
I was only going to make only three samples to show you their versatility, but I got carried away and couldn’t stop making them! A true sign of a great card. Watch the video to see how easy they are to put together, especially with the paper stash you already have at home. Below the video are the measurements. This is a perfect Mother’s day card for your mom, grandmother, daughter, daughter-in-law, niece, cousin, friend, you get the picture.

You asked for any concerns and I would like to see variations for using ribbon on card fronts.
Hello Wynette, thank you for your question about alternate ribbon ideas. I created this card about two weeks ago with a different ribbon front you may like – https://mailsomethingpretty.com/creating-a-two-color-sunflower-with-a-stamparatus/
I used ribbon a little differently with this sunflower card, see if you like this – https://mailsomethingpretty.com/creating-a-two-color-sunflower-with-a-stamparatus/
