Patte sent me a card with this fold and I never saw it before. I loved it and loved even more when I discovered how easy it was to make. An easy fancy fold card for any level crafter. All you need is a scorer, which is included in most/all paper trimmers. There are many versions of a Z-fold card and here is another. I’m not sure if it has a name already, so I’m calling this a Z-V Fold Card because you can see both a Z and a V when it’s folded. If you know of another name for it, please let me know in the comments and I can adjust this post.
This card does not stand up on its own because the card base is flat. The folded part is shorter than the base so I propped my card on a mini plate holder. I’m sure you have one of those (or something similar) around the house.
I used two sets of paper packs for this card, the 2021/22 host only Pattern Party paper, 155426 and the January – June Artfully Composed Designer Series Paper, 157750. I also added some Denim Ribbon, 149590. You can use any paper you have. I recommend 4-5 coordinating pieces. And stamp whatever greeting you wish on the front.
Stampin’ Up! sells my favorite Paper Trimmer (and I have tried many). Plus, it’s a great deal at only $25. It cuts and scores and is very lightweight. Item #152392.
