Desktop calendars are fun to make at the end of the year as they make perfect little gifts. There are many versions out there. I created this calendar to also hold a post it note pad and decorated pen. This holder highlights the new Well Suited Designer Series Paper that will be available in January. Keep reading until the end and I will link the desktop calendar I created last year so you will have two to choose from.

The key to this calendar is a good paper trimmer. I really like my Paper Trimmer made by Stampin’ Up!. They redesigned it about a year or so ago and I am very happy with it. And, it’s only $25 and the refill blades come in packs of four (for $12). I hardly use my guillotine trimmer or score board anymore because of the ease of this table top trimmer.
I hope you enjoyed this Desktop Calendar with Post It & Pen Holder project tutorial. The two below are projects I made last year you may enjoy as well.
To welcome in 2020 (who knew) I made this desktop calendar and put it on YouTube. It turned out to be a very popular project – http://mailsomethingpretty.com/make-your-own-desktop-calendars-with-just-a-few-score-lines/
I also made a coordinating notebook (to go with that same calendar). This notebook makes a great gift. http://mailsomethingpretty.com/embellished-jr-legal-pad-notebooks-make-great-gifts/
