This past Sunday I hosted an “Afternoon of Creativity” for my Stampin’ Up! team members. The focus of the day was to create with the Apron of Love stamp set and coordinating Framelits dies, as well as having a fun time. Everyone had so much fun stamping, creating and socializing. It’s always fun to get together with like-minded people to create, share & inspire with each other. There were 12 people who came from near and far, and therefore used every inch of my house.
I strongly encourage you to consider joining my team of “Wicked Stampahs”. The more, the merrier! There is definitely room for more, no matter if you want to be a hobbyist demo or and income based one. Using with the Apron of Love stamp set and coordinating Framelits dies are versatile for bakers, cooks, gardeners, BBQ-ers, Mother’s day, Father’s day, get well and so on. It’s a photopolymer stamp set which makes it super easy to place your stamps exactly where you want them. You can stamp within a stamp, also known as two-step stamping. Place those pockets, utensils, flowers and sentiments exactly where you want them.
The Projects
While I was designing the projects for the day, I tried to showcase different types of projects. Of course we made some cards, but I also wanted to create 3D projects. Everyone made a seed packet, BBQ box, gift card holder, recipe box and 3 cards. One card used the new Stamparatus (another benefit of being a team member, is using brand-new products). The Stamparatus will be available for purchase in the upcoming 2018/19 Annual catalog.
Please use your imagination and pretend there is a Home Depot gift card in the orange gift card holder. I love how that apron looks exactly like one a Home Depot worker wears. Change to color to blue and you have Lowes. Change the color to black and you have Crate & Barrel. I bet you can think of more too!
The Goody Bag & Benefits
Each participant made everything shown. They went home with their own Apron of Love stamp set, spool of blue & white gingham ribbon and a few extra fun products in their goody bags. Two lucky winners won the coordinating dies. Three creative members won the card contest. We took advantage of all the benefits of Sale-a-bration and everyone earned free products. Everyone was inspired to create even more when they got home.
