Today I got to create with the new Christmas Ornament Kit (a new September release) and fell in love with it! The kit has supplies and directions to make 9 ornaments, 3 each of 3 designs. I won’t be surprised if these kits sell out quickly, they are that awesome! Once December arrives, I can’t wait to hang them on my tree and I may even give a few away as gifts or or decorate my gifts with them.

I’m posting two videos on putting these kits together, a six minute video made by Stampin’ Up! (music only) and the replay of my live putting them together. It was helpful to me to watch the video before I put mine together.

Hot Gun Glue Tip
As I mentioned in my video, I burned two of my fingertips with my glue gun. Turns out, my setting was on high and it only needs to be on low (high is really hot). I was thinking about how to prevent hot glue getting on fingertips when gluing the little baubles and pinecones. If you have your baubles and pinecones at the ready, I would squeeze some hot glue onto your silicone mat and then dip the baubles/pinecones into that glue rather than applying the glue directly. I think you will have more control over where the glue goes (not on your fingertips!!!)
