Do you like to open presents early? If you answered yes, then I bet you like to able to order things early too. Stampin’ Up! has pre-released one of their Christmas bundles for us to order before the Holiday Catalog debut on September 1. As a demonstrator, I was able to order it a month earlier than you, and have had a chance to make a few cards which you will see below. I really like how the two Christmas greetings are bold and big, and you can accentuate them with the reindeer, evergreens, Christmas bobbles and edging/borders.
This first image is of the samples Stampin’ Up! teased us with:
And here are three of my interpretations:
I just love the die that makes this frame no matter what season or reason you use it for!
It was kind of fun to pair the Berry Burst color with gold.
I used the same framing die on this card too, but it’s a little hard to see on the vellum. The music pattern behind the Deck the Halls is the Sheet Music background stamp that is in the Annual Catalog. Sneak peek: There’s music paper coming in the Holiday catalog!
As you can see from my three examples, I chose not to use the traditional red and green combination. This patterned paper is actually from the Coffee Break Designer Series Paper (don’t be afraid to think outside the box!). The new Copper Trim is really fun to work with and a bit different from any other ribbons offered.
