Bookmark Card

For those who know me, I love to make, use and give away bookmarks.  What makes this better is making and sending a bookmark card in the mail.  Last month, we made these bookmark cards at Club and they were a big hit.  I even made myself an extra bookmark to use while I was traveling last week.  As a side note, I’m reading a fantastic historical fiction by Stephanie Dray called The Women of Chateau Lafayette.  This bookmark card I designed was inspired by a birthday card I received.  Keep reading to see and watch how you can make your own.  Feel free to switch the papers and stamps to customize for your giving.

One of the changes I made from the birthday card I received, besides the color and stamp choices, was to create a background image that is under the bookmark.  That way, when you are using the bookmark, you can still have the card on display because it looks like a card (not just a pocket bookmark holder).  You’ll see the differences of the original and my version in the video.
