I offer Paper Shares at the start of each new Stampin’ Up! catalog. It allows you to see, feel and use the paper before buying a full pack, at about a quarter of the price. I order all of the new papers from the latest Stampin’ Up! catalog, cut and label them with the paper’s name & coordinating colors, and reship it to those who have purchased Shares. This allows you to have a sampling of each new patterned paper without having to buy them all.
Each pack of paper is divided into four shares, cut into 6″ x 12″ sheets (unless it’s comes 6″ x 6″). I choose to cut the paper 6″ x 12″ in size because I believe it is more usable this way.
I am not allowed to photograph and share images from inside the catalog until the launch of the catalog, but I’ve listed the names of the papers to give you an idea and feel. I have never heard of anyone being disappointed in purchasing one of my Paper Shares. This time, I am listing the Paper Share deadline on the same day as the release of the catalog (rather than the day before as in the past) so you can look at the papers online on May 6 if you are unsure.
Last time I offered the Share, I was asked about including solid colored card stock with the shares. I looked into this option, but determined that all of that paper will not fit into a Priority Mailing Envelope, so you will have to order the solid colors yourself (you’ll earn your own Stampin’ Rewards when you do this).
Note: there are 8 returning paper packs in the Annual Catalog that are not included in the Paper Share. Only new papers are included in the Share.
