World Productivity Day was earlier this summer, on June 20. I posted about how we crafters should change the intent of the day into World Productivity with Creativity Day and gave you a challenge. You certainly met it! Here was the challenge:
In honor of World Productivity Day, I want everyone to make a card or project (your own design or copying someone else’s) on Thursday, take a photograph and email it to me along with your name and the materials you used. Over the next few weeks, I will post them all on my blog for all to see. Not only will you get more ideas on what you can make with all of your stamping supplies, but you’ll see that we all celebrated together.
I’m a few weeks later than “a few weeks” in posting your cards and projects, but I just know you will love to see what everyone from around the US is creating. Thank you for taking up the challenge, taking pictures of your projects and sharing with all of us! Linda used the Full of Life Designer Series Paper #163357 and embossed the entire card (all the layers) with the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder #163414. Pretty cool! I’ve never seen a card done that way. Looks like she has a nice way of opening the card too, with a side tab that appears to tuck under the sentiment. Thanks for sharing (and showing me a different fold) Linda.

Set of 4 inspirational cards (CASED from Robin Daus on Pinterest). I wanted the beauty of the DSP to stand by itself, and thought this pop out card would do the trick. Materials:
- Thoughtful Journey DSP #163303
- Matching/coordinating card stock and embellishments (I used matching ribbon, not necessarily all Stampin’Up!) (half sheet of 8.5 by 11, scored in the middle, and then a piece to go under the smaller rectangle (3.75 by 2.125)

From Mary Lou: For the second one, I used blender brushes #153611 and a circle mask with colors Pretty in Pink, Petunia Pop, Summer Splash, Shy Shamrock, Lemon Lolly. I used Dainty Delight stamps and dies (retired). The watering can is from Garden Meadow bundle #162741. Stylish shapes circle dies #159183. The sentiment is a very old wooden stamp I bought years ago when I first started making cards. Popped up circle with dimensions.

From Joan: After making our sand dollar box at Club & having one left over pieces, I was inspired to come home and look at the shell set from last year or further back. I had a stash of already made extra pieces, so used them up for these notecards. I love how those who live near the beaches and ocean are making related cards! From Nancy: Been working on using up papers, and went a little crazy fishing!! Love the colors in that pack! (retired). John’s our fisherman, and have only made a few for him and decided to make more! His birthday is in July and the 🎸 paper is perfect for him! The new home card is for him, too. Thought it turned out cute, too. I found the screen divider card on YouTube and had to give it a try! I have hundreds of cards here in my craft room – even after giving them away for years! Just mailed off 100+ to a group who sends them to our troops! I’ve sent them over 3000+over the last 20 so the troops can send them back home. I love doing this…

As you can see, I have so many wonderfully talented stampers on my mailing list and they each have their own style. That’s what is so great about sharing and looking at different people’s work. Everyone has their own style, likes, favorite folds, colors and so on. There are so many different ways of stamping, assembling, folding, cutting, combining colors that one person can not show them all. Thank you everyone who participated in my challenge.
