There’s nothing wrong with making involved and multi-stepped cards. It’s actually quite fun when you have the time. But sometimes, you may find that you need a card quick or you want to make multiple cards to have on hand. This textured & bold easy card, made with the Changing Leaves bundle, is just the card you need to make. Feel free to change up the colors to suit your needs or season.
What you need:

Colors:
Next you need to choose your bold (or any) colors you want your leaves to be. I actually saw a similar card online and decided to copy her leaf colors and change my background and base colors. My leaves are Summer Splash, Basic Black and Poppy Parade. I love how you can send this card any time of year because they don’t align with any seasonal leaf colors. I choose a Pebbled Path card base, a layer of Basic White and a top layer of Gray Granite. A very modern style I think!
As you’ll see in my video, you’ll need to cut each leaf separately because you want them textured. Did I mention that this bundle includes a hybrid embossing folder? What this means is you can texturize and cut at the same time!!!! I’ll show you in the video.
You can embellish your card any way you wish. The card I copied (was inspired by) had three Poppy Parade gems on front. I didn’t have those, so I substituted and used the Black & Very Vanilla Gingham Ribbon #161982. You can embellish how you wish, or go without. With such a bold design, it stands on it’s own without the jewels.
