When it comes to stamping, there are many different types of coloring techniques. You have stamping with different colored ink pads, coloring with Blends Markers and Stampin’ Write Markers, chalks, watercolor pencils, watercoloring with both blender pens and water painters, blending brushes and sponge daubers. Today, I’m going to show you a cool coloring technique using Sponge Daubers. We made this card at our January Club class and it was a hit. Sponge Dauber coloring is great because it’s easy & quick (and every card comes out a little bit different).
This card highlights the colors: Misty Moonlight, Mossy Meadow, Smoky Slate & Cinnamon Cider.

Tip – as I mentioned in the video, I like to label my Sponge Daubers. Put some washi or masking tape around the dauber handle and write the name of the color in permanent marker. Sometimes it’s hard to know which dauber has which color on it, so the labeling helps. You can wash them with soap & water. Staining may remain, but you can use them again and again.
