Triple Cube Pop Up Card

If you spent anytime on Pinterest or card forums lately, you have seen the trending Triple Cube Pop Up Card. These are fun cards that fit into an envelope and open up to be a triple cube. Turn them into any occasion cards by changing up the paper and popped up sentiments. Have a little patience making your first one and then you are sure to make many more. They become a bit addictive in making. Keep reading and you will find a video tutorial I made showcasing a Halloween Triple Cube Pop Up Card, as well as a supply & measurements list and photos of some more samples.

Triple Cube Pop Up Card Tutorial

I figured out where my mistake was. The measurements I showed were correct in the video and below. I miss scored one of the measurements.

Supplies & Measurements

  • Cube Base: 8-1/2″ x 9″. Mine was in Basic Black. Score: 2-1/8″, 4-1/4″, 6-3/8″ and 8-1/2″. Cut this piece the long way into two 4-1/4″ pieces. Cut one of these pieces in half at 2-1/8″.
  • Front Facing Patterned Paper: cut 6 pieces 1-7/8″ x 1-7/8″. I used Magic in the Night Designer Series Paper, 153517.
  • Front Border Pieces (to go under above patterned pieces): cut 6 pieces 2″ x 2″. I used Cajun Craze, Blackberry Bliss and Basic Gray.
  • Inside Patterned Paper: cut 6 pieces 2″ x 2″. I used a different pattern in Magic in the Night.
  • Tall Back Panels: cut 2 pieces 2″ x 4-1/8″. I used Gray Granite.
  • 1-3/4″ circle in Gray Granite
  • “Hinges” – cut 4 pieces, 1-1/2″ x 3/4″, score at 3/4″
  • Black base for “Halloween” – 1-3/4″ x 3″
  • “Happy” cut in Blackberry Bliss & “Halloween” cut in Old Olive
  • Multipurpose Liquid Glue
  • Black Glitter Paper 153518
