easy to assemble 3D Peony paper flowers

Peony flowers are some of the most beautiful and fragrant filled flowers in any garden. As I write this, my peony flowers are almost done blooming. They brought such joy and fragrance to both my garden and table – they last almost two weeks in a vase if you cut them at the right time. I’ll share photos of my blooms at the end of this post. What I wanted to share with you today are instructions on creating your own easy to assemble 3D Peony paper flowers.

The Peony Dies make these paper peonies a cinch. I will warn you, they become very addictive in making. I saw these 3D peonies in the new 2020/21 Annual Catalog and new the dies & set were a must have on my list. When they arrived, I will admit, I was a bit stumped on how to create them. I couldn’t find directions or a video on the Stampin’ Up! web page on how to put them together. After some searching, I saw another demonstrator put them together and had the ah ha moment of seeing how easy there really were in assembling. I created a quick video tutorial for you to have that same ah ha moment. Enjoy watching and then keep reading for a list of the supplies you will need to make your own peony garden.

Easy, right? Once you know each of those dies line up on the bottom they are a cinch to make. And you can customize them to have texture, shading, multicolors or any other personality you wish.
