Think ahead to Christmas and check the cards off your list

Towards the end of every December I wish that I took the time (when I had some free time in the summer) to prepare better for Christmas.  I wish I could create more decorations, gift packaging, goodies, etc.  Pinterest is full of ideas I always want to do, but realize I don’t have time to do when the calendar says Dec. 20.  Mailing Christmas cards is the same thing.  Do you wish you had some beautiful, handmade cards to send to those special in your lives instead of those boring box set cards?

I have the answer.  Come to my Christmas card class!  I host Christmas card classes each month from July to October.  You can make either 6 cards for $20 or 12 cards for $30 at each class.  If you attend a few of the classes, you’ll find that you have many cards waiting to be mailed in December.

Here’s what we are making for the August Christmas card class:

Snip20150726_3These cards are all made with the Wonderous Wreath Bundle
(Wonderous Wreath photopolymer stamp set and Wonderous Wreath Framelits Dies).  I love this set because you can create your wreath to be any style (and it doesn’t even have to be a Christmas wreath).  I made this card for my mother’s July birthday using the same set:Snip20150730_17Those flowers on the wreath come with the set and are supposed to be poinsettia flowers, but you can make them any color flower with a different ink color.  There are endless examples on Pinterest using this Wonderous Wreath bundle.

If you don’t live in the South Shore area and can’t attend a class, you can still make these cards if you purchase The Wonderous Wreath stamp set and Framelit bundle, which is only $43.25.  You can order it right here.  Of course, you’ll need a Big Shot and some coordinating papers and ink to make the cards, but anything worth making is worth the investment in the right tools.  Right??  If you need any help with ordering supplies, please let me know.

Spread the love!
