Thank you’s

This time of year seems to be a time of Thank You’s.  So I felt there is no better theme for my next set of classes as a thank you class.  Snip20151230_19I loved using new stamp sets from both the 2016 Occasions and Sale-A-Bration catalogs.Snip20151230_22This Remarkable You stamp set isn’t a new, but it’s new to me and I just love the bold lines.  I embossed the blossom on shimmer white paper with black embossing powder and colored it in with Melon Mambo and Cucumber Crush using my aqua painter.  I also embossed the leaves on the inside of the card and colored them with Cucumber Crush.  I like the polaroid look, so I just used my square Framelits to cut both the inner square and the “thanks” from the Greetings Thinlits.  To add just a little bit of color, I used paper from the new “It’s My Party” Designer Series Paper Stack (which I might add has 48 sheets in the pack) and finished it off with a double bow of crushed curry baker’s twine.Snip20151230_21I found inspiration for the card on Pinterest and changed just a few things because I loved how it was composed.  I used the Sale-A-Bration set Flowering Fields (these are real flowers found in New Zealand).  I stamped the blooms with the new Basic Gray Archival ink on watercolor paper and this time I colored them in with my blender pens using colors Pear Pizzazz, Soft Sky and Bermuda Bay, with a little Pink Pirouette for the butterfly.  “You made my day” came from A Dozen Thoughts and the banner came from the new You’re So Lovely stamp set.Snip20151230_23This sweet, little card can be found right in the Sale-A-Bration Catalog.  It features the Sale-A-Bration set What I Love, which is a triple stamping set (there are three separate images that make up the one flower which allows us to create beautiful detail).  I used Soft Sky cardstock as well as Soft Sky and Lost Lagoon ink and white embossing powder.  The Thank You box is a new feature in my Series classes.  You will receive a box for each theme we do, thus letting you organize your cards and find them when you need them (really, this is what I need).

Are you interested in the class?  They are on Jan. 7 at 10 am and Jan. 8 at 10 am and 7 pm.  Just send me an RSVP by Jan. 5 and I’ll save a spot for you.

If you can’t come to class, but are interested in purchasing the products I used, the new products will be available on Jan. 5 and you can place your order by clicking on the “Shop” tab at the top of the page.

Thanks!

Spread the love!
