Every Christmas Santa leaves a Nutcracker from Germany on our mantle. I think we have about 7 of them now and they all have their own distinct personality. A few are traditional, one is a drummer, one a baker and last year’s was a little bit whimsical. They have become a fun part of our Christmas tradition. After looking through the new 2014 Holiday Catalog, I just had to order the “Santa Stache” set because of the Nutcracker stamp. He has a serious look to him, but he was a lot of fun to color this weekend.
I used my new Blendabilities to color him in – no blending this time. Did you notice the jewels on his gold foil crown? I used those same Blendabilities to color in the pearls. Awesome, right? And I just had to pop out his mustache with my new mustache framelit. Makes him just a little less serious.
This is a great stamp set that you are sure to love. Just one of many new choices. The Nutcracker also comes with a Santa companion and I think they will make fun gift tags.
