Happy Valentine’s Day!

The card I’m sharing with you today was not made by me, but rather a very talented stamper who recently joined the Stampin’ Up! family.  I am besotted with this card that Ellen created.  The vibrant blend of the purples and reds, the pop of white under the flowers and the movement the watercoloring creates.  What a lovely card!  Thank you Ellen for sending it to me.Snip20160213_1

  1. Thanks Christine for your kind words. I cut two hearts; one from the purple and the other from the watercolored paper. I used Press n Seal on the watercolored diecut to hold all the background pieces in place when I removed the heart portion. Keeping the background pieces in place made it much easier to inset and glue those pieces into the purple heart. If I’d just punched them out of the heart it would have been a very time consuming puzzle to put together.
