What makes you happy?
I love this card because it truly is “the little things” that matter. I saw this design on Pinterest (Pinterest makes me happy) and I made a few little changes. I can’t always reproduce a card exactly as I see it, but I can use the supplies that I have and create a similar look.
The background stripes are made with freehand strokes from an Aqua Painter. One aspect that I did copy from the original design was the order of the colors – do you notice that they are not in a predictable pattern? Who says we need to always follow a pattern. In case you are curious, the colors I used are Smoky Slate, Pool Party, Soft Sky and Pear Pizzazz.
I made multiples of this card because it really came together quite quickly. It’s always good to have extra cards on hand and I think this one would suit many occasions.
