Stamp on your Sick Day

Last night I received the first photo from my cousin.  It’s her daughter making cards – she was home sick from school.  This photo made me so happy because she was using products she just ordered at her neighbors workshop two weeks ago.  Look how happy she is in the second photo!  I can’t tell you how many people who…

Do you know how to re-ink an ink-pad?

Sometimes we use a favorite ink pad so much that we need to add some ink back into it.  I noticed that my Coastal Cabana ink has been looking a little on the light side.  It’s one of my fave fave favorites (as my 6 year old niece would say).  Rather than just ink it and be on my way,…

World Card Making Day = Fabulous

On Sunday, 15 women came to my house to celebrate and participate in World Card Making Day.  What a great day!  This was my first time hosting such an event.  They each made 10 cards for themselves and 2 for the Christmas meal for Meals on Wheels.  We lunched on homemade soups, breads and biscotti.  Delicious!  Below are a few photos…

Sneak Peek

Every Christmas Santa leaves a Nutcracker from Germany on our mantle.  I think we have about 7 of them now and they all have their own distinct personality.  A few are traditional, one is a drummer, one a baker and last year’s was a little bit whimsical.  They have become a fun part of our Christmas tradition.  After looking through…

Happy Birthday Dad!

Today is my dad’s Birthday.  I was trying to think of what type of card to make him.  Over the years I’ve made lobster and fish cards because he loves boating and diving in the ocean.  This year I wanted to make something different.  This summer a new dairy farm, Hornstra Farms, opened up a mile away from where he…
