You’ve been waiting and waiting and now your wait is over. Six colors are now available for purchase as well as the Memento Ink, Color Lifter and the Skin Tone Assortments. The remaining six colors will be available on August 1. Each color pack comes with 3 markers – a light shade, a medium shade and a dark shade for $11.95/set.
Here’s a little picture tutorial for using the Blendabilities. They take a little practice, but are definitely worth the work. I used the Cherry Cobbler markers to color this bloom:
Start with the darkest shade first.
Next, add the medium shade in circular motions. You want to blend the two colors together by going over the dark shade with the medium marker.
Third step is to add the lightest shade, going over the medium and dark shades in circular motions. All three layers should become blended thus creating dimension. If you want to add highlights, you can use the color lifter.
Viola! A beautiful, blended bloom. I made this card for my mom’s birthday tomorrow – shh, don’t tell.
