Balloon Celebration

I wanted to share two of the cards I made using the new Balloon Celebration photopolymer stamp set and coordinating Balloon Bouquet punch (they are sold as a bundle for $15% off in the 2016 Occasions Catalog).  At first I thought the stamp set was just okay, but when I saw how it was used during the OnStage demonstration it became a must have.Snip20160113_11This first card is a design I created myself using just pinks, whites and gray.  At first it was going to be a birthday card, but the more I look at it, I think it would be a sweet baby shower card.  The stamp set includes both “happy birthday” and “congratulations” as well as other fun words.  Lots of nice subtle glitter with the Blushing Bride and Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper and the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush (it’s so hard to photograph this amazing glitter brush – I glittered the gray outlined white balloons with it).  The two pinks I used are Blushing Bride (the darker) and Pink Pirouette (the lighter) in both papers and ink.  To top it off is the Blushing Bride Sequin Trim.  The textured background is the returning Softly Falling Textured Embossing Folder.Snip20160113_8This next card uses the balloons a little differently, letting them fly free.  I used Pink Pirouette again (love this pink), Tip Top Taupe and Mint Macaron (I stamped off first to make this balloon a little lighter in color).  The words are stamped in Early Espresso.  Again, I used the Wink of Stella Glitter brush on all three of the balloons, but I just can’t seem to get that glitter to photograph.  Here’s a peek at the inside:Snip20160113_13There are so many great (and fun) sentiments to choose from in this set.Snip20160113_14Snip20160113_15Let me know what you think of this great stamp set!

Spread the love!
